At Queensland College of Art, Griffith University we connect students with Work Integrated Learning opportunities, extending their studio interests and providing a real world context to engage with histories of place, storytelling and place making, as well as contemporary public art practice.
Students undertake professional Work Integrated Learning including community engagement workshops, design development, and installation experiences. We work closely with our clients to transform spaces with unique artworks. Students collaborate with industry and are supported as they develop concept designs and artwork installations to create meaningful and impactful artwork outcomes.
We have successfully collaborated on projects with Queensland Rail, Longreach Regional Council, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Economic Development Queensland, Urban Art Projects, Brisbane Airport, Liang O’Rourke, Ipswich City Council, Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, and Griffith University.
