This artwork design is the third in a series of artwork installations at Griffith University. Located at the Nathan Campus N12 building, this work was designed by Bachelor of Visual Art student Angelique Millett.
‘Forest Stroll’ is inspired by Toohey Forest Reserve and the environment surrounding Nathan Campus. Individual botanical details are transformed into digital elements which have been moved and composed to create this patterned artwork design. Working together, students then painted this artwork along the walkway leading into N12. Importantly, this digital manipulation of natural forms and reissue as painted elements reflects the artists own interest in finding ways that digital art can form meaningful connections with the real world.
